BMW leads the field in employment and press relations
In terms of good professional relations between major German stock exchange-listed companies with the economic press, car manufacturers seem to lead the field. According to a survey of 248 economic journalists carried out by the Dr. Doeblin economic research company BMW comes out top of the class, followed by Volkswagen and Daimler. Runners up include Allianz, Siemens and BASF. Adidas, Henkel and SAP have greatly improved. BMW’s placement reflects the rapidity , reliability and relevancy of its responses. It goes out of its way to reach out to journalists and is swift in following up requests for interviews. This top placing among DAX-listed companies is a continuation of the BMW press office’s previous years’ victories. VW has kept second place. Deutsche Bank was voted the best for the skill of its staff in dealing with urgent requests for information.
